Hey mamas,
I'm about 7 weeks pregnant. This is my first child with my husband. We are greatful and joyful to have a perfect gift from above.
We all know it's not easy, So I'm going to cut straight to the point. What I've been trying to do is eat small frequent meals, try to find something that I can swallow without puking. For nausea it Varies, but this is what I've tried tried that works for me. Soda crackers, fruit popsicles(no sugar added) fruits lots of water (sometimes with lemon which helps ease nausea for) preggie pops (but when full empty)etc I keep trying new things as my body feels different every day.
I want to encourage you to seek Jesus Christ. We're not the ones creating this beautiful human beings in our wombs. They are being Knitted by the creator, the Lord. You're going to be able to go through this on your own, you know that. Keeping my eyes and mind fixed on Jesus has helped me endure tis trial. Seeking the Lord is what you need.
Currently 5 weeks and 2 days and I've been pretty nauseous and not able to eat big meals anymore. I've actually lost a few pounds but still look sooooo bloated my pants almost don't button. D id anyone else experience this, How did you cope?
How are working women dealing with first trimester? I am having morning sickness daily and too much fatigue...My work is getting hampered a lot. any tips of managing this situation?
I am going to be 9 week pregnant in 2 days & the vomiting is so freaking difficult it's making me feel really depressed. This makes me feel like I'm not strong I feel weak I feel so drained already did anything help you guys with your morning sickness?
This is what has been helping me. I'm at 9 weeks and have had nausea since about a week 4 or 5? Not vomiting thankfully but probably nausea on 80 % of the days.
-Eat two dry crackers before getting out of bed and drink a glass of water.
-Eat breakfast about 20 mins later
-Drink a cup of ginger tea with 2 ginger biscuits an hour later.
have another snack about 1.5 hours later(mainly fruit)
continue eating small meals every 1.5 hours
other things that help
-fizzy lemonde(but i try to limit this due to sugar intake)
sucking on hard lollies or sour lollies
-drinking lots of water
You're allowed to be happy about your pregnancy and still feel completely pissed off about being sick. Doesn't make you any less greatful either
Whoever said sickness stops in the second trimester is lying 😭 I'm so sick of feeling sick every single day. If it's not nausea It's heart burn, If It's not heartburn and reflux its constipation. It doesn't end and I'm over it. Still 3 months to go. I shouldn't complain but it's tough mentally and emotionally to just get through every day. I'm so greatful to be pregnant and I love my little peanut. I'm just emotional and nauseous 😀 ❤️
@alejandrawollsto I felt this in my spirit, I've got about2/3 months to go too but we can make it mama ❤️
I'm 5weeks 5 day and I have to continuously snack or eat a decent meal every 2 hours or I will throw up. So I'm just eating lot of fruit and little chicken salad wraps. It's hard work and trying to keep my eating and vomiting under wraps while I'm so early still. I have told my boss but I feel like I do not work just eat all day
I don't know if it varies from one person to the other but I only get nauseous when I'm starting to get hungry, so I attend to that and eat right away and the nausea goes away. The only other time I may feel nausea is when I eat too much, and so at that point I have no choice but to wait calmly until the foods goes down(sitting down)and to prevent this I make sure I eat smaller potions next time.
12 weeks today and am still normal no morning sickness no vomiting
I think I found the holy grail of nausea relief ladies. If you can access a high quality Irish sea moss jelly that you can take by the tablespoon it has helped my nausea immensely! Where I live in Indianapolis we have a local resource who makes it fresh by the order That's the ideal but if you don't have fresh access try to find the next best thing. The jelly consistency helps calm the stomach so I know its weird at first but sooo worth it. I tell people it tastes like the ocean. I take it first thing in the am on an empty stomach and later at night if I'm feeling queasy. Good luck!
Second pregnancy sucks! Been sick since week 5 and I'm 16 weeks now! Slowly easing off and I get a few good days and think I'm on the turn them bam must be a boy this time causing me grief.
