Non-Genital orgasm: Fact or fiction

Orgasm is a powerful thing. Whether you achieve it through clitoral stimulation, vaginal penetration or some other route entirely, the feeling of pure pleasure that washes over your body is undeniable. But did you know there are different types of orgasms?

While most people know that women can have multiple orgasms, many are unaware that men also experience them. In fact, an orgasm isn’t just a single feeling, it’s a complex series of feelings and sensations. While the term “orgasm” is often used interchangeably with climax, these two are not the same thing. It’s true that when you orgasm your muscles contract and your body becomes still. But this is only one aspect of what happens when you climax and other types of orgasms have different characteristics and can be pleasurable in their own ways.

What is an orgasm?

Orgasm is defined as “a series of muscular contractions resulting from sexual excitement which may or may not include a feeling of pleasure” according to the National Institute on Sexual Health and Human Development (NISHD). The NISHD defines an orgasm as being either:

  1.  a reflexive involuntary response to clitoral stimulation
  2. a reflexive involuntary response to vaginal or anal penetration
  3. a voluntary orgasm.

Some people think that when you orgasm, your body makes an “I’m-coming-so-let’s-get-it-on” noise. But this is incorrect. The sound of an orgasm is actually made by your throat as you swallow and your body muscles contract as you feel pleasure. There are also different types of orgasms, and each one will have its own type of sounds associated with it. While most people know that women can have multiple orgasms, many are unaware that men also experience them. In fact, an orgasm isn’t just a single feeling, it’s a complex series of feelings and sensations.

Types of orgasms

Clitoral orgasms

The first type of orgasm is known as clitoral or “female ejaculation” orgasms. They are reflexive and involuntary and occur when the clitoris is stimulated. This can happen in several ways including masturbation, oral sex, fingers or toys inserted into the vagina, but not intercourse. Clitoral orgasms have an explosive feeling of pleasure because they are caused by an over-abundance of nerve endings in the clitoris and when it is stimulated it feels like you’re going to have an explosion!

Women are not the only ones to experience this type of orgasm. Many men also have a similar reaction when stimulated in the right way.

How can I give her a clitoral orgasm? Clitoral orgasms can be given when you caress and massage her clitoris, which is located just below and inside her vagina. In addition to that, you can play with your fingers in different positions and patterns over her vulva area. For some women, it may take some practice to figure out the right pattern and speed.

There are two types of clitoral orgasms: Reflexive and Non-reflexive.

Reflexive clitoral orgasms are simple to give. Reflexive orgasms can be easily given if you know how to find and stimulate her G-spot (the spot right above her urethra). Simply by squeezing it, you can produce a wave of pleasure that will last for hours.

vaginal orgasm

The second type of orgasm is called “vaginal ejaculation” and also happens when your partner penetrates your vagina with their penis. This occurs after vaginal lubrication and it’s a reflexive, involuntary response. This orgasm can also be caused by clitoral stimulation. The third type of orgasm is called “anal ejaculation” which occurs when the anus is stimulated. It has a reflexive and involuntary response like the vaginal ejaculation orgasms, but instead of an ejaculation it results in a feeling of fullness in the lower abdomen. This happens because the rectum contains nerve endings that can be stimulated to create an orgasmic feeling.

This is especially true if the rectum is stimulated before the prostate gland. The rectum is a type of erogenous zone, and it’s possible to orgasm from prostate massage alone. If you’re interested in experimenting with this technique, I suggest starting with the prostate and working your way down to the rectum.

How do you tell if you have an orgasm?

You can tell if you’re having an orgasm by checking your body for these signs:

  • Your heart rate increases
  • You get goosebumps
  • You feel flushed
  • Your muscles tense
  • You sweat.

In addition to the physical signs of an orgasm, there are also psychological ones. These include feeling excited or sexually aroused and noticing your breathing is faster. It is possible to experience a different type of orgasm every time you masturbate or have sex with your partner. But regardless of what type it is, the only way to know if it’s over is by stopping yourself from having sex again!

Are there any types of orgasms that aren’t normal?

Some people don’t like the idea that they can have multiple orgasms and don’t want to consider them as normal. Others just think of them as a weird feeling and don’t want to talk about them.

But multiple orgasms are actually perfectly normal for men and women, just like many other things in life. They’re just so common that we rarely notice them. They happen when we masturbate or have sex with our partner, and they can also happen if you play with yourself in the shower or in the bathtub, or if you get aroused from thinking about sex while driving.

Although most people are familiar with multiple orgasms, not all know what to call it when they have one. Some people call it a “quickie” because they feel like it happens quickly (which it can). Others may call it an “earthquake” orgasm because they feel like their body is shaking or vibrating as if they were at an earthquake (which doesn’t always happen ). Still others may call it a “twice in a row” orgasm, because they feel like they can have an orgasm multiple times without having to stop. But you don’t have to use any of these terms. Just enjoy your own orgasms.

Is there anything I can do to make sure I get as many orgasms as possible?

Many people think that if they masturbate more often, then they’ll get better at having multiple orgasms and that eventually they’ll be able to have a hundred or more! But the truth is that it takes time and practice to learn how to masturbate for maximum pleasure and climaxing in every way.

But what you can do is make sure you don’t try too hard when trying new techniques. It may take months or even years for you to master a new technique, so don’t force yourself to do things that aren’t working for you.

If you feel like something isn’t working, stop doing it and try something else until you find one that feels better to you.

Many women who are having difficulty reaching orgasm during masturbation report that they have been able to reach orgasm after intercourse. If you have difficulty reaching orgasm without the use of sex toys, try using your hands, feet or vibrators while you are having intercourse with your partner. It may feel awkward at first, but keep practicing and you’ll be fine
