While standing, bend on the leg back toward buttocks stretching the front of the bent leg. Use hand on the same side as bent leg to hold the stretch. Tilting pelvis forward will engage the hip flexor. Knees should be kept parallel, underneath hips. This exercise may also be performed while lying face down (prone) on deck
