- Three-way hurdlers stretch
Froma sitting position, extend one leg out while tucking the other in front of the hips with knee pointing outward. Bend torso forward toward deck while keeping back straight, stretching muscles of the inner thigh. Hold the stretch and return to the starting position. Next, turn torso toward the knee of the extended leg and bend over from the waist.
Keeping back straight bring chest toward knee while stretching muscles in the back of the leg. Return to starting position. Using arm opposite extended leg, reach up and over while bending the body to the side. Keeping back straight, bring shoulder toward knee while reaching the opposite arm toward the foot of extended leg. Stretch could be felt on side of the torso and hamstring.
